Explore our premium grade selection of rare earth magnets engineered for stability, high energy product, and durability.
Exploring the essential role of NdFeB rare-earth elements and high-performance magnetic steels in modern production infrastructure.
In the modern manufacturing landscape, permanent magnets—particularly high-grade Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB)—serve as the core driving force behind the global energy transition. Unlike standard steel components or temporary electromagnet structures, permanent magnets possess high magnetic remanence (Br), exceptional coercivity (Hcj), and maximum energy products ((BH)max) that ensure long-term energy transfer efficiency.
From the miniature voice coil motors (VCMs) running in billions of mobile phones to megawatt-class wind turbines driving green energy grids, these materials must withstand thermal degradation, aggressive physical shear, and corrosive elements. The industrial market demands specialized permanent magnets that retain structural integrity over decades of performance.
Information Gain Insight: The efficiency of modern electric vehicles (EVs) hinges heavily on the thermal stability of NdFeB magnets. Standard grades can demagnetize at elevated operating temperatures, making the transition to H, SH, UH, EH, or AH grade magnets critical for heavy industrial use cases.
The supply chain for raw neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, and terbium is highly centralized. With China possessing key processing facilities, international procurement managers seek partnerships that balance direct factory access with rigorous compliance certificates. The global market is shifting toward long-term agreements with reliable manufacturing entities capable of processing raw oxide materials into precision-finished blocks, cylinders, rings, or complex arc segments.
A National High-Tech Leader in Advanced Rare Earth Magnet Sintering & Machining
Established at the turn of the millennium, Zhejiang Laysun Magnetics Ltd. has built a massive production hub in Suining, Sichuan. This state-of-the-art facility processes high-performance sintered NdFeB magnets. By maintaining control over the entire supply chain, from melt-spinning and hydrogen decrepitation to jet-milling, alignment compaction, sintering, and final slicing, we secure consistent physical dimensions and magnetic properties for our OEM clients.
Our core values center around Quality, Credibility, Technology, and Innovation. We have invested heavily in high-performance vacuum induction furnaces and automated inspection lines, ensuring we consistently deliver over 5,000 tons of high-coercivity rare earth magnets annually.
Sourcing directly from a mature Chinese factory provides procurement departments with structural advantages:
Direct integration with domestic rare earth extraction networks shields international buyers from volatile material premiums.
Equipped with advanced hysterographs, salt spray chambers, and automated dimensional sorters for zero-defect output.
Our 100,000 m² infrastructure ensures robust capacity to handle massive industrial, EV, and consumer electronic projects.
From micro-electronics to heavy automotive machinery, our custom-engineered magnets are integrated worldwide.
Operating systems running in localized sectors have unique technical requirements:
Our commitment to internationally recognized manufacturing and chemical criteria helps minimize risk for your procurement.
Industrial permanent magnets must comply with rigorous international manufacturing frameworks to verify high-volume structural durability. Zhejiang Laysun Magnetics Ltd. meets strict international management requirements across environmental impact, safety, and operational standards.
Compliance Portfolio: API 6D, API 607, CE, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001, and TS certifications. If you need copies of our official test reports or certification numbers, please contact our quality department.
Every product batch goes through systematic quality gates, including magnetic flux testing, thermal degradation tests (PCT/HAST), salt spray testing for environmental durability, and strict coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspections. This ensures our magnets drop seamlessly into automated robot assembly lines without jamming.
Supporting international supply chains via advanced global distribution and strategic hubs.
Shipping powerful rare earth magnets via air or sea presents unique logistical hurdles. Magnetic fields must be shielded using specialized metal spacers and insulation layers to meet strict aviation requirements.
Whether shipping via ocean freight from Hangzhou or via air cargo, Laysun provides standardized export-grade packaging. This prevents external magnetic interference, protects your shipments, and avoids shipping delays at customs.
Technical guidance and sourcing advice from our engineering team to help you optimize project specifications.
Sintered NdFeB magnets are manufactured by melting the raw materials under vacuum, casting them into a mold, and then crushing them to form a fine powder that is subsequently aligned and compacted via heat and pressure. They offer much higher magnetic properties (up to 52 MGOe). Bonded NdFeB magnets, conversely, combine magnetic powder with a plastic binder, allowing them to be injected or extruded into intricate shapes with tighter dimensional tolerances, though they carry lower magnetic properties (typically 2 to 10 MGOe).
Standard NdFeB grades (e.g., N35 to N52) work reliably at operating temperatures up to 80°C. For hotter environments, you need to transition to higher temperature-resistant classes: M grade (up to 100°C), H grade (up to 120°C), SH grade (up to 150°C), UH grade (up to 180°C), EH grade (up to 200°C), and AH grade (up to 230°C). Choosing the correct grade is critical to prevent permanent demagnetization.
Because neodymium magnets contain highly reactive iron, they oxidize easily in humid environments. The most common coating is Triple-Layer Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni), which provides excellent durability for indoor use. For marine or high-moisture settings, we recommend Epoxy, Zinc (Zn), Parylene, or custom Rubber-Coated finishes to form an airtight barrier.
With our advanced multi-axis grinding and wire-cutting machinery, we regularly achieve dimensional tolerances of ±0.05 mm, with precision-ground requirements going as tight as ±0.02 mm for specialty applications like voice coil motors (VCMs) and electric power steering (EPS) assemblies.
We pack all magnets with magnetic shielding in mind. We arrange products in rows separated by heavy-duty non-magnetic spacers, enclosed in iron-sheet lined cartons. This contains the magnetic flux, ensuring the shipment complies with IATA and ocean freight safety standards.
