Sintered NdFeB magnets are manufactured through a vacuum melting, pulverizing, pressing, and sintering process, yielding maximum energy products (BH max) of 35 to 55 MGOe. They offer high magnetic strength but are brittle and limited to simpler shapes.
Bonded NdFeB magnets combine isotropic neodymium powders with polymer binders (such as epoxy or nylon) through compression or injection molding. They offer lower magnetic performance (5 to 15 MGOe) but allow complex, high-precision geometry designs directly from the mold, without the need for post-processing.
